My family love the apartment
Clean apartment. very comfortable, great location, very quiet, and very safe, staff very helpful.
A little hard to open the street door. instructions could be more clear. Not a big deeal after we figured it out.

Great place in the center of things
This was an excellent location right near the Zócalo and many fabulous markets for crafts, etc. We found the building very secure and the apartment very comfortable. The manager was responsive when we had questions. They had a special filtered water tap, thoughtful kitchen touches such as Tupperwares, microwave, and a good sized fridge. Also, there were good beds and good blinds.
The biggest problem we had was finding the place. The manager sent us a Google pin that took us to the wrong place and we had to walk with all our stuff for several blocks. The entry door was completely unmarked. It was only after a frantic plea to the manager from a busy street corner that we were sent the necessary info to find the unit. Also, one night there was a huge party at the Zócalo that ran late and loud. The kitchen was minimal for real cooking: a single burner hot plate and zero counter space. The traffic could be crazy in this area, such that one night we walked from 20 min away as it was just as fast as a taxi, but this is not the apartment's fault.

One of the worst travel experiences of my life
Nothing. We're not able to get in. Unable to reach host.
Combination to get in did not work. Alarm went off and police came with automatic weapons. It was very frightening for my family.. Host was out of the country and unreachable for the entire time. Only responded after the reservation was over to claim their phone was not working. Had the nerve to send lots of automated messages about our stay. Host is a management company in Mexico City, not a Oaxaca local. Other reviews have noted the same problem of not being able to get in or reach the host. I would not wish this experience on anyone. Stay away!

Great location and comfortable space, one floor up from street level.
Easy to find and easy to enter the main door. Comfortable beds, and showers always had hot water. The apartment is one floor up, which gave a nice view to the street below and was a bit quieter.
The code to the apartment door was an old code, which was stressful after a 12 hour day of travel. You think you are doing something wrong and you keep trying different things and you’re tired so you start to lose it. Then you have to wait for them to get back to you, but they were quick to reply with the newly changed code.

I'd stay again
Superb location. Next door to the AT&T store if you have just arrived and need a new sim card. ATM just around the corner. The next block is the main square. Organized tour companies are very close by. Very clean and quiet. 3/4th size fridge and microwave. Good A/C in the bedrooms and a big ceiling fan between the kitchen and living room. Big comfy bed. Love that it is an apartment with it's own entrance with code access.
Understand that I would stay here again so take the following as simple advisements. Part of the reason I picked this was the washing machine. That washing machine should be replaced. I'm on the wrong side of 50 and clearly remember the olive green washing machine I grew up with. That washing machine would be an upgrade. But my clothes did come out smell free and I have a wonderful story, so I'm not really complaining. Laundry soap not provided and I wouldn't recommend using it since there is no rinse function. I won't give out any more spoilers. The other thing that I have to mention is that there is a wooden "cap" placed over an opening in the kitchen floor. Maybe there had been a staircase coming up through there at one time? Anyway if the apartment below turns on the room lights, it can be noticed around the edges of the wooden floor. And if the people below take something out of the refrigerator that is clearly audible at the kitchen table as well as the crinkling of the plastic bag. So you will want to be quiet. Warm water in the shower but it is low flow and they do advise limiting showers to 3 minutes because their cistern is limited. As 1 person staying in a 4 or 5 person apartment I wasn't put out by that but perhaps a big family would be.

Overall, I would stay there again.
The location was great and it was very clean. The people were very accommodating and very prompt in answering us and taking care of us.
The water pressure was very low, especially in the bathroom sinks.

Very well-equipped charming yet simple place, a great base right next to the historic center
The two-bedroom apartment was charming if quite simple, and very functional and well equipped. I liked that the owners appeared very conscientious about informing us to conserve water where possible given water constraints in the city. The location was unbeatable, just 1.5 blocks from the main square (Zocolo) so everything was walking distance and we felt very safe at night. There was a cute rooftop area to sit/read/sunbathe.
The only minor frustration was the kitchen area (simply with a hotplate) was so small and there was not enough surface area for the appliances while in use, so we had to juggle things. It was noisy from the street because of the very central location but the heavy wood shutters helped and just make sure to bring earplugs!!!

The apt could be cleaner walls are dirty floors filthy and bathrooms need a deep clean.
Very difficult getting in took 2 hours to contact for codes on whats app but u need to be online to access so it was impossible to do while on the street in 90 degree heat. Traffic noise was very difficult for sleeping but it is very close to the zocalo which is nice. We got use to it.
