Welcome to our little slice of heaven!
Our spacious lakefront cabin nestled on the Whitefish Chain of lakes between bustling Lower Whitefish Lake and peaceful Island Lake.
The Laughing Loon Lodge is just what you've been seeking for a quintessential up-north Minnesota get-away situated on just over an acre on the Whitefish chain only minutes from downtown Crosslake, and the nearby Cuyuna Lakes and Brainerd Lakes Area for all types of recreation and enjoyment.
Our Lodge offers you 5 large bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms, there's plenty of room for everyone! This cabin is perfect for your family or large group get-away. The primary bedroom boasts a private ensuite bathroom as well as a private deck overlooking the water. Accommodations include furnishings indoors and outdoors not to mention a dining table with seating for ten! The kitchen has a refrigerator, range/oven, microwave, and all the cookware/dishes/utensils that you'll need. The large kitchen, vaulted great-room space, the loft, and multiple levels are perfect for families, groups and multi-generational gatherings.
The view from the back deck gives you picturesque tree-top views of the lake and the side deck is a perfect place to grill out. Walk down some stone steps that take you to a flat grassy yard for games and fun. After the grassy flat, you'll come to the expansive sandy beach, and a beach front fire pit. We offer kayaks and stand up paddle boards, a canoe and a floating Lilypad for all your water recreation use! The Whitefish chain of lakes has numerous boat launches, lake-side restaurants, quaint shopping boutiques, world class golf, hiking, snowmobile trails, parks, and bike trails.
The cabin features air-conditioned and heating accommodations which provide enjoyable comfort. Savor some early morning refreshments from our coffee maker.
This beautiful Crosslake cabin provides complimentary wireless Internet access. Smart television is featured in the lower level family room gathering space.

Our family of 10 enjoyed our week at this beautiful lodge. A nice blend of rustic feel with modern conveniences. Nice bedding/towels/soaps, quality furniture and plenty of spaces in and outside to eat, play games, barbecue, read or just relax and watch the deer and eagles. Lake is clear and shallow/sandy for great swimming and we enjoyed the lily pad and paddle board. Two suggestions- no curtains in master bedroom so bring eye shades if you’re not an early riser. We like to cook and missed good knives and a hand mixer. We caught some bass and nice sunnies and appreciated the boat slip for the rental pontoon. Michaela was very communicative and addressed all our needs promptly!!

Our family loved our stay here. The lake is very clean and we loved the sandy beach. The house was clean and well equipped and the hosts left great welcome treats! Lots of places in the house for the kids to play and for the adults to relax and enjoy views of the lake.

Our large family had a wonderful time at this property. The home is very well managed and ideal for large families. Access to the waterfront beach is a challenge for those with impacted or impaired physical movement.
