The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms between 3 levels.
The basement boasts a king bedroom, with full bathroom with shower/tub combo. Around the corner here is also the game room and additional kitchenette. It's quite the moody vibe here and so much fun!
On the main level of the house is two King bedrooms, both outfitted with memory foam King beds for your comfort. Nightstands, closets, and next to the master bedroom is the full bathroom with beautiful walk-in shower.
Upstairs is the two queen bedroom with a bathroom that has a walk-in shower just outside of the door. This is also where the washer and dryer are available for your convenience during your stay.

The guest house is above the garage, and a roomy private space featuring a full bathroom with walk-in shower.

A King memory foam bed, queen spring bed, and a trundle bunk bed that has three twin memory foam beds for a total of 5 beds in the guest house! This is the perfect place for a family to have their own space, for the teens to have a fun sleepover, or friends to gather. Whatever fits your group! They're bound to have a blast over here. There is an entrance at the bottom to go upstairs, and once unlocked, there's a sliding glass door that is just a short walk from the main house so you can pop in and out as you'd like.

The designated chef of your group will love the modern kitchen with all the essentials needed to cook meals for a large family. You will find stainless steel appliances, and tons of counter space for prepping and serving. The island has 4 barstools and the dining table has 8 chairs so ample seating for all!
One of the best parts about waking up at the Havilah House is the luxe coffee bar, fully stocked with coffee, tea, and condiments.
The living room is just across the way and features a plush sectional sofa and smart TV. This area gets stunning natural light, but if you want to enjoy a movie or your favorite shows during the day, you can draw the thick curtains to block the light.

Features a spacious gorgeous green couch along with comfy camel accent chair. This is THE best spot to sip your cup of coffee in the morning looking at at the lake. Whether it's colored with the amazing fall leaves, summer sun, or layered with ambient snow, you will truly feel the most relaxed in this serene spot of the house.
It's the perfect place to snuggle up, read your favorite book, grab your knitting needles and loose track of time in such a relaxing environment.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house worked very well for our family group of 15 & the location was very convenient to Crosslake. However we arrived after the first snowfall & the driveway & steps were not cleared. You have to climb the steps to access the house & they were slippery. We could not find a shovel & the access to the room above the garage was not obvious when nothing was cleared. Also, the garbage service had not picked up the garbage from the previous week. These issues were resolved fairly quickly except for the garbage pickup. We suggest moving the house access to the door at the same level of the driveway (to avoid the outside stairway) & adding instructions for access to the garage & how to use the fireplace.

We really loved the kitchen area with the family room and dining area and plus the bonus room where we could hang out and sit and view the lake. There were 12 of us, ladies, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The view was amazing. there were lots of games in the basement, but we didn’t use those because we didn’t have any kids with us but how nice to have that if you were to rent this place with kids. There were lots of little nice touches that we appreciated like the hot cocoa and s’mores set up even though we didn’t use it. It was a great idea some of which we think we will use for ourselves at home and at our cabins. We really love the place. Do I have any photos?

There was plenty of room for all 13 of us with the separate living areas. The kitchen, living room and sitting room was very nice with plenty of sitting areas. There were a few issues we did encounter though. When we arrived, the stairway leading to the entrance along with deck and deck furniture had not been cleaned and was full of sand and dirt. The carpeted areas were very dirty which made up quite a bit of the house (bedrooms, stairs leading downstairs, downstairs living room and the living space over the garage). It also smelled like either mold or tobacco when we arrived. The beach area looked nothing like the pictures. There was no beach area at all. Also, we contacted Josh when the main level refrigerator freezer quit working and everything melted. He did not return the message I sent him, so my son-in-law contacted him. He asked him to pull out the refrigerator and plug it back in which, we tried to do but it wouldn't budge. We let him know that and he never responded back. Luckily we had the downstairs refrigerator to use. Lastly, the driveway had a low area right in front of the garage which collected dirt and mud. You had to walk through it when entering the house thus the dirty carpet. With a few changes and more attention paid to the cleanliness of the home it would be a really nice place to stay.
