About this house rental

This property is located within a beautiful, privately owned estate surrounded by acres of nature reserve offering plenty of outdoor activities from biking to paddle boarding. The onsite Spa encourages relaxation with their selection of treatments and pools.

All our properties at Lower Mill Estate, The Cotswolds and Silverlake, Dorset have strict rules to ensure a family friendly atmosphere. Our properties must strictly be used for holiday purposes only and not for working in and or using to commute to and from a place of work. Stag and Hen parties are strictly not allowed at any of our properties, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if you break the estate rules.

OVERVIEW
The Summer House is perfectly positioned being only 5 minutes walk from the onsite restaurant and Spa. One of our most popular house designs allowing for lots of light, open plan living with contemporary design. The interiors have been very carefully selected to combine modern living with a comfortable and cosy feeling throughout.

A hot tub makes for an extra special enjoyable occasion, for both splashing around in the afternoon or relaxing into the late evening whilst watching the sun come down. This is at an additional charge.

ACCOMMODATION
There are three bedrooms and a family shower room on the ground floor made up of one standard size bunk bedroom with double wardrobe and two ensuite king size bedrooms. Both the king bedrooms have lakeside views and enclosed conjoining balcony with westerly facing views to enjoy the evening sun. The master suite sits at the top of the property with glass double doors overlooking Swillbrook lake leading onto the mezzanine balcony set with desk and double sofa overlooking the open plan living/dining area. The super king size bed sits underneath a sky light window offering time to stargaze and the ensuite provides a double step in shower. The open plan kitchen and living area offers a large comfortable sofa in front of a log burner fire and T.V, complimented by a large wooden coffee table and dining table to seat 8 people. The main terrace allows you to take full advantage of alfresco dining, whilst the snug room offers an additional television and sofa to hide away in, both situated on the first floor.

OUTSIDE
The first floor terrace is accessed via the double doors from the living area and provides westerly views. Outside steps lead down to the ground floor deck (also accessed from the ground floor bedrooms) and is complete with al fresco dining.

Please be aware that there is no waterside access onto Swillbrook Lake as this is a nature conservation lake.

We have a spa onsite with a bracing outdoor eco-pool, naturally filtered by water lilies. There are two more 20m heated pools – one indoor and one outdoor, a steam room, a sauna and a technogym. Treatments are also available at the spa.
We have Tennis and MUGA counts onsite along with our lakeside nature reserve which is comprised of eight lakes, two rivers and miles of walking trails.
You will also find The Activity Hub onsite and they manage all the equipment hire of bikes, canoes and kayaks - there's something for everyone!
