About this house rental
The Hideout is a beautiful Skydeck property with a hot tub on its roof terrace giving you the perfect spot to sit back, relax and take in the lake views.
The Hideout is located on the water's edge of Minety Lake giving you beautiful views of the surrounding lake and the wildlife that calls it home. The homeowners have taken great care in designing and furnishing this property so that holiday goers are able to make the most of their stay. You will be located a short 5-10 minute walk from the center at Lower Mill where you will be able to enjoy access to Lower Mill's award-winning, tranquil spa, exclusively for guests and residents of Lower Mill.
All our properties at Lower Mill Estate, The Cotswolds and Silverlake, Dorset have strict rules to ensure a family friendly atmosphere. Our properties must strictly be used for holiday purposes only and not for working in and or using to commute to and from a place of work. Stag and Hen parties are strictly not allowed at any of our properties, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if you break the estate rules.

Ground Floor:
The Hideout benefits from a stunning open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that opens up onto fantastic views of Minety Lake.
The kitchen and dining area have a modern feel to them and are kitted out with all the cooking utensils you will need to make the most of your time at the property. Within arm's length of the lovely wooden dining table, you will find a drinks cabinet perfect for storing and topping up your refreshments.
The seating area and TV are positioned overlooking the water giving you the perfect spot to watch the sun go down over the lake. The lounge is also home to a log fire so during those winter months you can gather around to enjoy its warmth while sitting cosily around the TV, after a day of exploring the vast Cotswold countryside.
The first of the property's four bedrooms is found on the ground floor, in the photos it is shown as a single bedroom but this can be made up as a double on request. There is also a family bathroom situated downstairs.
First Floor:
Here you will find the further three bedrooms, the first of which is the master double bedroom overlooking the front of the property. This bedroom is ensuite with a shower.
There is a second double bedroom on the first floor as well as a twin bedroom and a family bathroom.
Outside:
The first floor has a staircase leading up to the property's roof terrace which gives you fantastic views over Minety Lake. This roof terrace is one of the standout features of the property with it being home to a rooftop hot tub and seating area making it the perfect spot for your friends and family to hang out and relax.

Lovely house - only 6 of us but good for 8 adults - hot tub a lovely addition- but noisy at 6am cleaning routine.
No washing up bowl or kitchen sink plug and more towel and coat hooks please - otherwise perfect and we would definitely stay again.

We’ve stayed at Lower Mill Estate several times, and this was by far our favourite property.
Clean and bright, if a little bland inside, the access to the water is just sublime. We fished, watched and listened to birds and had our canoe moored right outside the house. Absolute heaven - and the rooftop hot tub was a real extra treat.
Only downside is that there’s currently still a lot of building work in the surrounding area - but we didn’t find it disturbed us at all.
