The location

There was only 1 bath towel left And the view out of the bay window is not clear as the glass was misted up, it needs replaced

Been here before and will go again it’s in a great location and very comfortable

Only thing is in the middle apartment a couple of the windows are a bit fogged but the view from the dinning table is amazing

Location and space

No shower, sink in bathroom is very slow to drain away

Fantastic sea view from top floor apartment great location for swimming, running etc.. Free parking outside (apart from weekends and Bank Holidays). Short walk to bars & restaurants. Rooms are very spacious and the lounge well furnished with period tables etc… Bathroom shower had very good water pressure and nice and hot. WiFi signal was good.

The apartment is not as plush as is suggested in the photos on booking.com. The building is a bit tired and in need of repairs. The shared stairwell to the flats feels rather scruffy and the carpet is due for replacement. There is a roof/guttering fault above the top flat with the result there is significant interior wall damage from damp in the lounge. Not an issue in the 2026 summer dry spell, it wasn’t damp, but could be a serious problem in heavy rain. The flat had been well serviced/cleaned, but a number of minor features need attention: The base divan for the bed is very old and scruffy/stained, the windows are in dire need of a clean and the bathroom extractor fan needs a serious clean; Loose tap in the bathroom; sink not draining well and needs a complete clean out and the toilet seat was loose. All minor things that are very easy to fix, but just make a quite nice bathroom sub-optimal.
