Karol Apartment Rome

The apartment itself was very pleasant, comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Overall, we were happy with the accommodation.

Unfortunately, communication with the host was a different story. Although she repeatedly told us to contact her if we needed anything, she was unavailable when we actually did. Before check-in, as agreed, we messaged her that we were approaching the apartment, but received no response. We ended up standing outside in a thunderstorm with my older father, for whom this was a birthday trip to Rome, with nobody answering the phone and no idea what to do. Thankfully, some very kind neighbours helped us. A similar situation happened at check-out. We received instructions about where to leave the keys, but the labels on the mailboxes did not exactly match the instructions. We messaged the host to confirm, but again received no reply, despite her knowing what time we were leaving. In the end, we left the keys where we believed they belonged and headed to the airport.

Location was excellent. Could walk or uber to local restaurants and sights.

Garbage in the city streets. Significant graffitti on most city buildings. Most restaurant employees luck warm when serving us in restaurants.

El alojamiento estaba en buena ubicación con parada de autobús y metro cerca, un apartamento bonito con todo lo necesario para el viaje. Además dar las gracias a Carolina, una persona encantadora y gran anfitriona!
