Bosham 3 BR Beach House with Garden & Playhouse

We loved out stay here. It's location was amazing. Short, beautiful walk to the village along the coastal path. Great pubs and cafes. The house itself was comfortable, the bed was big and luxurious. It was very clean in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The garden was perfect for our dog. Totally enclosed. Shower was powerful and bath lovely.

We were surprised to see that this is actually an annexe, with clearly the hosts next door. We always assume if there is a log burner or fire, that there will be enough wood for a small fire. A man (reasonably friendly) came into the garden and told us about the chair cushions for outside. We were a bit taken aback as we didn't expect to be seeing someone. Anyway, he got us a small basket of wood organised after we asked. Prior to that there had been no basket under the fire as in the picture. Just a messy pile of Ash and wood chippings. The entry to it is fairly narrow, and so if you have a very wide vehicle, it'd be a tight fit.

Minimal kitchen equipment. No mixing bowl supplied. 2 of the 3 sharp knives need replacing. Very blunt. Couldn’t even cut through cheese. Lacking spare light bulbs for bedroom ceiling fixtures. Cobwebs around radiator in living room and end of bunk beds. Supply of a vacuum cleaner would have been helpful. Sink blocked in bathroom with shower. Dangerous trip hazard: threshold between utility room and kitchen. One of us tripped over and fell on the high metal bar threshold, causing a painfully bruised shin and knee because it was not seen. Threshold should have yellow and black striped tape on it as a danger warning, as it is UNSAFE. Advertised playhouse in garden in very poor condition. Dirty inside, with only one dirty wicker chair as furnishings. Unsuitable to advertise it as an attractive feature. Swingset frame not pegged down- UNSAFE. Suggest thorough inspection and rectification by Fresh Air Agency and Booking.com.
