Large enough to accommodate three generation family get together (one granny, two couples, three small children and a small dog). Loved the pool and grounds. Location accessible by car and public transport, with grocery and fish and chip shops nearby. Small children catered for with high chairs, travel cot and welcome packs. Dog friendly. The toddlers loved being able to circle right around the inglenook fireplace that separates the dining room from the lounge in the old part of the house and having space to play inside and out. Helpful host who dealt with queries in a friendly manner.
There were many flies in the house when we arrived and for the duration of our stay (we had to cover all unwrapped food, drinks, crockery and cutlery with kitchen roll paper to stop flies crawling all over them). The fridge in the kitchen was too small for a long, hot weekend's worth of food and drinks for five adults and three small children (it didn't help that the fridge door shelves were missing). Second fridge in the utility area was useful, but inconvenient. The property has character but was rather worn and frayed in some places and unfinished in other places.

The property is a mix of old and new. Weather loved the size, location and amenities. Lots of space for our family and friends, and with the pool, big garden and tv area in the pool house the kids were able to play continuously without getting bored.

Layout of rooms within house suited our mixed age (3 to 75) group. Pool much enjoyed. Laura @ Chichester Properties very helpful. Big living room in 'Pool House' great for family meals TV watching etc.
WiFi patchy - not a problem but could be if members of your party need to work on-line

Lovely location, convenient. Managed to fit 4 cars on the drive. Spacious for a big family. Worked well for the weekend. Had enough resources eg; plates/mugs etc.
Good layout. Lovely gardens.
Worn down, needs some general upkeep. Smelt of dog and damp when we arrived. Fridge door hard to close.
