All requests like early check in and an iron were met. Most things we needed were there although we packed our own items too as we weren’t certain what there would be.
We came during an absolute heatwave (36+) every day and unfortunately due to no air con or fans we didn’t sleep well at all. The property should have a couple of fans or ceiling fans as a minimum. There was hardly any breeze but the noise outside all night and into the morning just increased the sleep disruption. Ideally the beds should have proper pillows as all there was was a half pillow on each side of the bed.

It is very well located - 5 minute walk from the lake. Kitchen has a hob and dishwasher (though no dishwasher tablets).
There is a really musty smell - particularly in the bathroom that is very off putting. It does not look as large or as clean as in the pictures. The shower head is broken and doesn’t fit in the slot so you have to hold it up to use the shower. The hot water also runs out very quickly which is inconvenient when more than one person is staying. If you’re planning on eating at the property there is a hob and toaster but only a small table top oven so you can’t cook bigger meals
