Clean, well appointed, the cabin is made with love and Gabriella and her family put love when taking care of their guests. We saw owls, on the small trail next to the house. They also have many fruit trees on the property like carambol, una, cacao etc.
Gabriella would prepare an early morning breakfast as it suited our timings. Our kid played with Dario and Matthias and checked out the different farm animals, fresh sugarcane juicing was fun too.
Location is alright, if you have a car.
The hosts mostly speak Spanish, so translation can be a challenge, but we had a Spanish speaker in our group so it was all good.

Deze accomodatie was echt fantastisch. Onze favoriet in twee maanden reizen met onze dochter van twee. Alles was fijn: het comfortabele huisje, het geweldige zelfgemaakte ontbijt, het boerderijleven en -dieren, het natuurlijke zwembad, de tuin met prachtige vogels, de privacy, maar bovenal de ongelofelijk lieve hosts. We missen het nog steeds!
Er was niets wat tegenviel.

It was fantastic meeting such nice and generous people during our vacation. Gabriela and her family made us feel like home. Her breakfasts are amazing. The house is full equiped (even washer/dryer) and has good privacy. Kids loved the farm, the sugar cane making demonstration and playing with the boys! Close to La fortuna Waterfall. Hope to go back soon!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft! Das Frühstück war wunderbar typisch costa-ricanisch, unglaublich lecker und jeden Morgen ein echtes Highlight. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön gestaltet und mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und zuhause.
Besonders begeistert hat uns die traumhafte Terrasse: Dort konnten wir jeden Tag unzählige Tiere (Aras, Tukane, Kolibris, Eidechsen, Eichhörnchen und viele andere wunderschöne bunte Vögel) beobachten und die Natur in vollen Zügen genießen. Dieser Ort hat wirklich etwas Magisches und strahlt eine ganz besondere Ruhe und Herzlichkeit aus.
Für uns mit Abstand die beste Unterkunft in La Fortuna – absolut empfehlenswert!
