A lot of thought had gone into making the property stylish and it definitely had novelty value. The shower room was very impressive and the kitchen area very well designed to provide maximum utility in the space available.
The main problem - identified by others - was the very low ceiling height in the bedroom. I see from other reviews that the reply is always this is made clear in the listing. However we booked through Booking.com and it is not mentioned there. Only AirBNB explains this. So from the photos alone I assumed we would at least be able to stand up in the tallest part - but that wasn’t possible and like others we had to crawl to bed. A lack of a hand rail at the top of the ladder also made descending a little precarious

The cottage was fun and cute. The patio was nice with a good supply of comfy seating and the parasol worked well. Parking was also good and easy for us to get our bikes in and out. somewhere to lock bikes in the driveway would have been handy. It was nice and close to the beach.
We liked the property overall but we were not expecting the bedroom to be so low ceiling and got a bit fed up of crawling into the bedroom and being unable to stand up in there. We didn't notice that this was going to be the case when we booked. For less mobile / flexible guests this accessibility would be a major challenge.
