Corfu Fortress Apartment

The property is very well located and the facilities are what everyone looks for. Very confortable, we had a bottle of water in the fridge which was perfect on the hot weather. The host was very kind and responsive everytime we needed, we even had early check in and late checkout which was very impressive . we highly recommend this accommodation, we will definitely return here if we ever come back to Corfu

Le quartier est assez bruyant mais c’est un appartement de ville bien placé et il y a aussi le marché central. C’est selon la sensibilité de chacun, j’ai réglé le problème avec des boules quies

The location was very good a short walk to the old town. We enjoyed walking around the area the apartment was situated and going to the local cafes and restaurants. Aristotelis was an excellent host. He sent lots of information prior to arriving and during our stay. The apartment had everything you would need for a weeks stay. Kitchen had kettle, coffee machine, washing machine etc The shower room had a great hairdryer which is a must for me. The apartment was clean and modern.

Being on the third floor could be a challenge for some, especially with heavy bags. so be aware there is not a lift. A personal negative for me is regarding the bed and pillows. The pillows were most uncomfortable and I found it difficult to sleep on them. The mattress made need turning regularly or replacing and a regular change of mattress protection covers. There was a bus timetable in the apartment which we found useful. One suggestion would be useful is having a welcome pack containing information for the area and town ,e.g. buses to beaches and other towns to visit, places to visit etc. Where to dispose of rubbish and bathroom waste that can't be flushed away. Recycling bins. Any recommendations for restaurants away form the tourist area would have been useful.

Wonderful location. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the swifts.
