Lavender Cove

Had everything we needed and great location down a private drive, near stunning beaches, walks and lovely shops (highly recommend the lasagne from the local grocery) and shopping centre with restaurants nearby. Easy to jump on the highway. We went to port Arthur and Richmond, bounce, Mount Wellington, Hobart marina plus museum and did some local walks over 3 days. Clean house, heated blankets, spa bath, nice stock of oil, spices, dish soap and dishwasher tablets ,washing powder. Kids loved their rooms, nice big table to eat around and play games. reverse aircon. Great communication from Linda throughout.

House was very cold on arrival would have been nice to have some wood to get fire going for the first night as we arrived late afternoon , it was dark and not sure of the area so would have been a nice touch. Also a few more coffee pods :)

Though nothing could be improved about this, a property this big should have two washrooms.

The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Perfect for short or long stay with lots of kitchen equipment. Lovely touches throughout. Warm and welcoming. A great location walking distance to Blackman's Bay beach. Linda was lovely to deal with.

Location was good and the host ensured the property was very well stocked with everything a household should have. Made it a very convenient and functional place to stay.

Bed and pillows weren't great. The Pillows were some of the worst we've encountered in hosted accommodation. Also, there was no firewood or kindling to start the wood-fire place available, which is pretty standard for hosted accommodation with fireplaces.
