Auberge le Mont-Gelé

Magnifique séjour dans cette auberge authentique et pleine de charme. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, la vue extraordinaire depuis la chambre et la terrasse du restaurant, le repas était parfait également.

The room was basic but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. We also liked the terrace as the view is just amazing, although we couldn't spend much time there as the restaurant was very busy with dinner guests.

The main downside was the noise. We stayed only one night while passing through and did not have high expectations, but the restaurant activity continued until around 11 p.m., with noise carrying on afterwards. The walls are very thin, and it was possible to hear conversations and movements from neighbouring rooms quite clearly. While some level of noise is understandable in a wooden building, several guests were also quite loud, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. They did give earplugs though, so just in case.
