The House - Central Boutique Apartments

Overall, a lovely place to stay - and I liked exploring this city, too. Very well-appointed, well-maintained, stylish property from the entrance gate, through the common area and into the apartment itself. Central location. Enjoyed being above the pedestrianised street below - a gentle buzz of locals enjoying the area, easily blocked out by quality windows and balcony door, if preferred. Strong wifi. Excellent communication prior to arrival.

The statement at 'Modern amenities' at 'About this property' - ' Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, refrigerator, and oven' - is substantially untrue. During my stay, there were three mugs, two glasses, two forks, one dessert spoon, two teaspoons and one corkscrew - hardly a 'fully-equipped kitchen'. Indeed, there is no real kitchen at all - a hot water jug and coffee machine on one side of a door, a fridge with a microwave atop on the other, plus a new sponge and dishwashing liquid in the bathroom. A good number of the photos do not seem to relate to the actual apartment (though some do accurately depict it). Water from the shower tends to spread out over the bathroom floor. During my three days, very loud techno music in the late afternoon and early evening from nearby Plaza Verbazhd was intrusive; fortunately it stopped at 8pm sharp.

I had a perfect stay here: the instructions to get the keys were clear and exact, the location of the apartment simply cannot be more central than this, the place was spotless and very nicely renovated. I had a very comfortable week here!

The only inconvenience I experienced was around washing up the crockery and cutlery as that had to be done in the bathroom and there was no washing up liquid or sponges, but that’s obviously a minor thing if you’re here for a short stay and don’t plan to eat in.
