The host Germano was extremely helpful. He didn't speak much English and I don't speak much Italian but thanks to a translation app, we were able to communicate fine. The apartment is quite cave- like and is ideal for folk who like to stay somewhere a bit unusual, rather than a bland hotel. Everything was very clean and location was close to all the main sites, restaurants and amenities. Sulmona is a pretty place surrounded by mountains, so nice to photograph. Really enjoyed my stay here.

I decided to walk from Sulmona train station to the apartment, which turned out to be uphill, and took a bit longer than I thought it would, with my case and bag. My Google Maps had some syncing/ signal issues so I got a bit lost. It was difficult to find a restaurant with availability as it was a Saturday eve, so worth bearing this in mind.

A wonderful historic apartment with lots of original features on a quiet street in the centre of town. Germano is also a very friendly host & helpful with local recommendations. Couldn't ask for more, a perfect place to stay in Sulmona

Ottima la posizione e grande disponibilità da parte di Germano! Un'ottima base per visitare la gradevole città di Sulmona!
