Cozy Hillside Home in Budapest with Patio

The location close to bus stop was a great plus (15 mins to the city center), the apartment was clean and the towels were well kept. The apartment was located in a calm area and surrounded by trees and plants. The kitchen was big which was handy as we prepared food for us and our kid. The host has kept us a welcome drink and some sport bars, which is thoughtful and we appreciate the kindness!

From the gate, there are approx 20 stairs to climb followed by a walk around the building to reach the entrance to the apartment, please take it into consideration if you are travelling with a baby stroller or guests with special abilities. We had to carry the stroller every time we had to leave the apartment. The kitchen utensils, cutleries could be changed as they look too old, the knives barely good enough to cut a cucumber. The water in the taps are either too cold or hot, the transition between hot and cold is very fast, took a while to figure out the tap lever postion for ambient water temperature.

개미가 좀 있어서 조금 아쉬웠어요

The title speaks for itself it is indeed a cozy place on a hillside. Stayed there for a weekend, it is a hidden place in the quiet parts of the capital. There are way more services and shops around it than mentioned. Gas station, shops, plaza, restaurants, cinema, kinda everything. For a breakfast and delicious coffee in another cozy place I recommend the Cserpes Tejivó not far from it.

The sink and the and the cabinet above may be not perfectly positioned. Like you gotta blend a bit for washing teeth.

A wonderful, quiet place with its own garden with flowers, trees and birds :) I would quite agree to spend my life in this garden with a cup of coffee :)

Basically, there was enough of everything :)
