Islet Promenade Seafront Penthouse with breathtaking seaviews and private hot tub on the large terrace by Getawaysmalta

If you are on the fence about going to Malta, just do it. If you stay here it’s like a hideaway from the hordes of people in Valletta with many local tour, dining and entertainment/ beach club options nearby. If you want to check out rest of island you can uber everywhere for cheap. So many things to do we wish we had stayed longer. Make sure you visit the Beefbar beach club for a half/full day (book a cabana poolside), we received amazing hospitality. If you like a more clinical environment / photos for instagram book sunbeds at Cafe del mar. If you are organising a boat trip make sure you get in writing that it’s going from a Bugibba jetty. The spa at the end of the day was bliss and the view is stunning and second to none. The host was really helpful and responsive. On our second last night we had pasta from the restaurant in the building and it was divine.

The smallish double beds but they are standard for Europe. It’s nice and modern but don’t expect 5 star luxury. Was the best value property we stayed at in Europe on our 5 week trip for sure. Malta is not the place you sit in your apartment all day there is so much to do.

The outside area is definitely the highlight of this property with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the stunning views over the bay.

Das Appartement liegt im 11.OG in erster Reihe mit 180 Grad Blick aus Meer. Auf der Terrasse steht ein Whirlpool, genial. Es gibt zwei Bäder und zwei Schlafzimmer, es sind die meisten Dinge für einen Urlaub vorhanden. Cafés, Kioske, Restaurant und Supermärkte fußläufig jede Menge vorhanden. Sehr gute Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen, direkt am Hafen und Busbahnhof in 1km Entfernung. Nutzt den Nahverkehr! Preiswert und alles ist erreichbar.

Die nachfolgenden Anmerkungen sind aus der Sichtweite eines deutschen Touristen. Sauberkeit könnte etwas besser ausfallen. Es sind alle nötigen elektrischen Geräte vorhanden, aber es ist nicht gemütlich eingerichtet. Eine kleine Nachttischlampe, Biergläser fehlten. 3 Wein und 3 Wassergläser sind nicht ausreichend.

No real lounge area to sit and relax in. Upon arrival the apartment was not fully cleaned, the cleaners then knocked the door the first morning we stayed at 6:45am to ask if we wanted them to finish. We were not notified by the host that substantial building work was being done next door and so the building site started every day at 7:00. Beds hard and uncomfortable. Kitchen had no running water for most of the day and only worked sporadically in the evenings. There was a limited supply of hot water for the shower. No dishwasher tablets supplied.The apartment constantly had the smell of food from the restaurant below. The hot tub spa water was not clean and no chlorine tablets were supplied which made us not wish to use it- and this is a key selling point of the apartment. All in all we felt the apartment was overpriced and did not live up to our expectations. We would not return.
