About this house rental
Located between Windham and Hunter Mountain, a 10 minute drive each, The Lodge at Deer Pond provides seclusion just minutes from the action - hiking trails, skiing, snowboarding, lakes and other natural wonders, are just minutes away.
Featuring 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths your group can easily spread out. Our home offers no lack of entertainment, fast wi-fi, 3 TVs, hot tub, pool table, sitting by our indoor and outdoor fireplaces, smores by our fire pit or simply sitting and enjoying the pond.
The space
The lodge provides for spacious spacious living and sleeping space on its three levels.
The recently installed Mitsubishi split unit air conditioning will keep the 1st floor common spaces cool. Additional split units are located in the king bedded and the twin bedded 1st floor bedrooms and the king bedded, 2nd floor primary bedroom which is en suite.
In addition there is a king bedded bedroom and a bunk room on the lower level. Each of the three levels have large, uniquely decorated bathrooms, two with tub/showers and one with just a shower. There is also a half bath on the 1st floor. There are two large entertainment areas on different levels of the house.

The dates are September 27-28, October 4-5 and October 11-12. Check to see if we have availability.***
As the seasons change from Winter into Spring, Summer and Fall, golf or fishing may be your activity of choice. Both are available minutes from the house.
- Christman's in Windham offers 27 holes of golf for the enthusiast.
- The Schoharie Creek and the Batavia Kill offer early season trout fishing. The Esopus is half an hour away and offers native rainbow trout and brown trout fishing throughout the season.
- Hiking is a tradition in the Catskills. We can recommend our favorite hiking trails, easily accessible from our centrally located house.
Each of the four seasons offers its own charm and activities in the Northern Catskills.

Hot tub didn’t look cleaned, dirt on bottom, skin flakes or something on top of water. Shower downstairs had a bunch of long hair in it when we arrived.

My family loved staying in this cabin to see the changing of the leaves in the Catskills. We saw deer on the road and the kids had a great time catching tiny frogs by the pond. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and another huge selling point for this location is the three king size beds. We also grilled and roasted marshmallows on the patio. The house was very clean and comfortable. So many great memories! We would definitely stay here again.

We're a group of guys in our late 40s who grew up together. Every year we rent a house for a long weekend getaway to relax - cooking, grilling, drinking, laughing, playing poker, catching up around the fire pit...And WOW this house was perfect! We honestly can't think of a single thing to complain about. Plenty of space for the eight of us, deck was great, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Hot tub looking up at the stars on a clear, cool late-August night - all perfect.We highly recommend this house! Very happy we stayed here. Disco Squad approved!

The house is as advertised and is beautifully appointed living areas, kitchen and bathrooms. Was perfect for our family to meet in a central location for a long weekend. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Great location for summer hiking, antiquing, farm markets and lots of great food and beverage in the area. Also great for winter skiing - a few minutes from Hunter Mountain.
