Entry granted upon Reservation. Private community. Home offers spacious ground level garage, with plentiful parking. Garage & Driveway parking ONLY. Street parking not allowed. Please respect the neighborhood for its quiet & private nature. Enjoy home and do not disturb others. Thank you for your respect for the Neighborhood, the Golf Course & Club. This is a very treasured property.
The Neighborhood:
Private, secluded Community. A sand path leads to one of the most beautiful beaches in Charleston. The beach is consistently quiet, a real treasure. Thank you for your respect for the Neighborhood & the Golf Course & Club. This is a very treasured property.
Getting Around:
Golf course community. Car, golf cart, bicycle, on foot.
Other Things to Note:
Pet Policy: Town & Island Co. welcomes Pets. There is a $200 non refundable pet fee. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s).
Severe Weather Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC, your stay will be refunded. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued.

This home was beautiful! The pool and pool deck were amazing. Rooms are spacious and the Ocean Room was fabulous.

The Positives: Gorgeous golf course and beach views with beautiful sunsets. Great location; short, easy walk to the beach. Clean, spacious layout perfect for large or multiple families. Well-stocked kitchen with a huge fridge, great stove/oven, and plenty of cookware. Beautiful pool and outdoor area with ample seating with plenty of beach towels. The Negatives: Pool Maintenance Issues: A broken pump stopped water circulation. Debris from a storm wasn't cleaned out by maintenance and the onsite skimmer net had a hole. Management never came to fix it. Also trash and broken floats left in pool restroom and behind pool. Unresponsive Host: The host ignored multiple requests to contact us regarding property issues. Check-in Hassle: We were provided the wrong gate code and locked out until Monday. Severe Hot Water Problems: The second floor took 20–30 minutes to get hot water. The first floor ran out after 10 minutes, even when no other water was running. Poor Grounds keeping: The front yard had overgrown weeds instead of grass and was never mowed. It looked nothing like the pictures. Low-Quality Linens: The bathroom towels were cheap, motel-quality, which is unacceptable for a luxury rental price. Most disappointed with the lack of response from the host even after providing a cell number for communication.

We recently spent a week at this incredible Wild Dunes home, and it exceeded all expectations. My family and our dog, Otis, felt right at home. Waking up with coffee and winding down with cocktails in the famous Ocean Room was a daily highlight. The views were truly unbeatable — beach, golf course, and marsh all in one spot! It felt like our own private Ritz-Carlton-style retreat. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
