About this house rental
All the enjoyment and fun in the city but away from the hustle and bustle! Right side of a duplex- own entrance and driveway. Cozy 2 bed/1 bath duplex home. You also have free roam of the downstairs- full unfinished basement which has a washer and dryer and also a cozy reading/ music/ stationary/ board game area. Upscale and safe neighborhood in Auburn with a fire pit and chairs and patio table and chairs. Dog friendly! Enjoy local favorite events such as the balloon and art festival and fireworks celebration! Ice skating, roller skating, flea markets and farmers markets close by as well! Hiking and fishing too! Come kick up your feet, relax and have a blast! To keep our prices low your stay does not include use of the air conditioner. If you would like to use the air conditioner during your stay it will be $50 each day used.

Stay was exactly what we expected. Nice and quiet house. Across the street from a nice quiet ball park. Had fun feeding the local crows (sorry if they haunt the house now waiting for donut holes) Had absolutely no problems at all. Communication was stellar. Only thing that could have been considered a problem that really wasn’t I already addressed with the manager. Just had to do with handicap accessibility. Nothing “dangerous” like I said just a recommendation for the future. Definitely a good stay in a good area of the town. Laundry facilities and everything. Made for a very good stay. Thank you again !!!

We recently stayed at this duplex and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the owner was very responsive and quick to reply to messages, which we appreciated.However, we ran into an issue with the cooling situation. We reached out the day before our arrival due to an expected heat wave, asking if there were fans or air conditioning available. The owner said there were two fans and mentioned she could bring down an extra fan and the hose for a portable A/C unit.After our first day — which was very hot and humid, reaching up to 87 degrees inside — we followed up and requested the A/C hose. At that point, we were told it would be an extra 50 per night to use it, which was never communicated beforehand. The extra fan was also never delivered.It was disappointing to be potentially charged extra for something that wasn’t clearly outlined in advance, especially during such uncomfortable conditions. Overall, while the place had potential and communication was initially good, the unexpected extra charge that they wanted for a/c, even after it was offered to us and lack of follow-through made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.
