Lasting childhood memories

"Will there be big waves this year?" Here is my first memory here.
As a child, I rushed to the tide schedule notebook hoping that the coefficients would be as high as possible.
As teenagers, my best friend and I have unforgettable memories of freedom in the dunes.
Now I saw the happiness of taking my wife and our children there.
It is these moments of intense happiness with family or friends that we wish you with all our hearts to experience!
So yes, as you can see, I have a particularly passionate attachment to this house, even if it is not perfect.
This is an old house with period furniture overall and a characteristic smell of old house that brings back so many memories...
We improve it over time and the décor, appliances and furniture in the photos are subject to change (for the better!).

You will find on the first floor:
- A large kitchen/dining room with dishwasher, fridge with freezer, gas stove with oven, microwave oven, kettle. The coffee maker is a walk-in coffee maker. A large table for comfortable dining for 6. The lino has a few small holes.
- A bedroom with a completely new 140x190 double bed (2023).
- A large living room.
- The bathroom with slipper bath. The 150L water heater is new (2023).
- The indoor storage room will remain private, with no possibility of access.

Upstairs, two bedrooms in a row:
- the first with a double bed of 140x190.
- the second with two single beds of 80x190, a travel cot.

Each bed is equipped with mattress protectors, duvet and pillow(s).

Outside, a garden of 85m² with outdoor table and chairs.

The television does not allow you to watch the channels but you can watch movies via an USB key that you will bring.

The whole house is accessible to you except for the outdoor garage and the indoor storage room.

Our trusted person will welcome you on arrival.
You will contact her in advance as soon as possible to set with her the arrival time that suits you best. She will also ensure your departure at the end of your stay and will carry out the inventory of fixtures at the beginning and end of the stay.

The cleaning will be carried out by you (a deposit of 150€ will be taken for this by check on your arrival).

There is no linen service: you will have to bring your own fitted sheets, duvet and pillow covers, towels and table towels as well as dish towels.

A rental contract will have to be signed as well as an inventory of fixtures on arrival and exit.

You will certainly enjoy:
- the calm of this house,
- the proximity of the beach: 500m on foot,
- the proximity of the village 1km away,
- to experiment with fishing on foot on the Gois at low tide and to witness its recovery by the tide,
- take advantage of the flatness of the island to cycle along the ocean,
- to walk in the Bois de la Chaise and on the Plage des Dames in Noirmoutier,
- taste samphire (a kind of "pickles" that look like seaweed),
- to play pétanque on the Chemin de la Papine...

As you can see, I take care of the management of this house for my mother. I will not be on site but will remain available for any information or help necessary for the smooth running of your stay.
