Two separate rooms with private entrances will give your family as much or as little privacy as is desired. Located approximately 5 minutes to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and 10 minutes from downtown Estes Park, Hummingbird is part of 13 cabins at Idlewild by the River that were the original workforce housing for the workers that built the infrastructure for the National Park. Be part of Rocky Mountain history and lore when you call this cabin your base camp for your Rocky Mountain Adventures.
We believe in the “everything included” model for your stay with us. Everything from linens, toiletries, spices and your own propane BBQ to make your stay enjoyable. The location is close to downtown without being right in the middle of things. The property, with it's tall trees and running river, is peaceful. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The check in / check out process was easy. Would stay again.

This property is perfectly located near the river and away from the heart of the town. Nice and quiet.
Small bathroom, but worked through it. Living room was great for game time, comfy couches.
We did have a few hiccups with the heat; pilot light kept going out so we had to call the manager. The space heaters blew the breaker, but he came to help.
Overall we enjoyed the stay and will be back !
