Cozy 3 bedroom 2.5 bath, condo located on the water with access to Lake Ponchartrain and the Tchefuncte River. Peaceful and quaint, lots of wildlife. Minutes away from local restaurants and shopping.
This is on the water living. That comes with bugs, mosquitos, spiders and sharing your outside space with them. You'll see an alligator in the water, there will be raccoons, cranes, lots of birds. the dock is great for fishing.
You can bring your boat and launch right from the complex and tie up on the private dock outside the condo.
This is a very peaceful area, great for relaxing.

Our overall experience was a very positive one. Location is somewhat exotic, with tons of different wildlife native to southern Louisiana. The townhouse was clean and very comfortable. Hey, stop it. This location is about an 90 minute drive to New Orleans across the Causeway Bridge. If you like wildlife, beautiful scenery, and quietness this is the place to be.

Overall we had a good stay but the condo did have a few issues. Listed as having a bbq grill and there was none. Screens on porch were ripped in several spots which let mosquitoes in. Downstairs bed was listed as full but was a daybed I think, definitely not full size. Could be a beautiful place with a little upkeep. Highlight of the stay was Mr. Alligator who kept trying to steal the guys fishing bobbers. Unfortunately we left early because of hurricane warnings.

We enjoyed our stay here in south Louisiana. This place was perfect for our family of 5. I just wish it had a keurig. I wasn't prepared for a regular coffee pot, but thankfully the dollar store was close by to get regular coffee. The host was very easy to communicate with & made our stay easy.
