The Hosts had everything one could need on a beach get away. The ease of access and the quiet neighborhood was enjoyable as it was a new development complete with gym, pool, and tennis quarts. The owners are generous with beach materials and everything is of decent quality.
Upon arrival, the place was absolutely filthy. Used sheets complete with mystery stains, hair, and strange smells, in addition to dirty bathrooms with errant hairs and stains on the mirrors. The kitchen still had trash, old coffee in the pot, and the countertop was covered in crumbs and stains. This is the fault of Vacasa (the third-party management), as it appears someone just put new towels and plastic sheets out instead of cleaning between guests. As it was a large house and we had arrived late, we had to do some basic cleaning before unloading our suitcase and food. We lost a beach day cleaning the rest of the house and changing all of the sheets, and making sure everything was at a basic standard of tidiness.
