Poole Harbour Birding Bolt-hole

Adjacent to a walk along Hamworthy Beach and Ham Common's stunning heathland scenery. Comfortable, clean and warm. Accessibility was great for my daughter's needs. A great base for the Poole Harbour bird watching boat cruises, 10 minutes down the road.

My 3 boys had the time of thier life here!

We wanted a hidden gem... WE FOUND IT!!! The hosts were absolutely adorable, nothing was too much trouble, my 3 ferral boys ran wild and they were ok with this and helped out too. The boathouse was exceptionally clean and the beds were so comfy and clearly had nice crisp fresh sheets on! It is much more spacious than we thought as a family if 5 (photos dont do it justice) The garden is sparce and so much to do! We wish we booked more than one night and my children asked if we could stay forever!!!

It would maybe be good to explain that the beach at the bottom of the road is pebbles and not sand as we thought it would be sand. But this will not deter us from booking in the future, this was perfect for us! Thank you so much x

Fantastic place, minor negatives but a great stay.

Wonderful apartment. High quality sofa bed. Comfy main bed and great bath. Lots of activities to use and friendly staff

Sad to put anything negative however the toilet seat is broken, the barh mat was already soaked from previous users, half a toilet roll with no spares. As for the towels it was like drying yourself with sandpaper. Seriously need some softener or new towels Also the swing hammock was not available despite being advertised in photos Dont let this put you off the place is still great.

The property was perfect! It catered for all of our needs and was very welcoming and comfortable. There were plenty of games and activities for all the family, location a stone throw to beach walks and nature walks. A little haven. Very relaxing. The hosts were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful.

Great stay!

A well equipped apartment with one bedroom with a double bed and one sofa bed in the living room. We are a family of five so we got an extra bed in the bedroom, and there was room for that. The kitchen is well equipped, and the whole apartment seems very new. We could enjoy the garden facilities: the trampoline, the badminton court, sofa and table, the drying rack and basketball net. Street parking is easy, and there is a small beach just 75 meters walking distance and easy drive to the Jurassic coast The owners are super nice! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Donna and Andrew!

It was a lovely property

Having to share garden with owners Shower was very weak and had to clean the limescale so it would spray properly Left outside light on by accident and was told to paid £5! Could have had a warning and not been Petty.

The Boathouse was a lovely comfortable place to stay and we would definitely come back again.

The Boathouse is in a fantastic location just a 2 minute walk to the waterfront. It’s a lovely open plan accommodation and very quiet. We were welcomed on arrival and had everything we needed to be comfortable. There was even a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Soap, tea, coffee and milk were also provided. The bed was very comfortable and king size. There was a good hot shower. There was also a big comfortable settee and a large tv.

Very comfortable self-contained apartment close to the sea with great facilities

We loved everything about our stay at the Boathouse. Great location to be close to family. The facilities were good quality. Comfortable bed. Very clean. There was a chilled bottle of prosecco in the fridge waiting for us when we arrived. Other members of the family have already booked for a summer stay. We would definitely stay here again on future visits

Fantastic accomodation!!

An absolute gem of a place, we booked last minute just for a quick getaway, location is PERFECT! 5 mins walk to the beach, the views from the garden were great. Property was lovely, modern, looked after and the hosts were very accommodating, lovely and helpful.

Double bed could do with a new mattress as it tilts inwards and a litte uncomfortable. Apart from that........nothing!

Great place for families, close to beach.

Great place and friendly hosts, we had everything we needed for our stay. Kids enjoyed having access to the garden (and climbing wall). Loved the location, quick walk down to the beach, and Ham Common was great for a run in the morning. Good base to explore Dorset from, hopefully we will be back for longer next time.

Relaxing retreat

Beautiful accommodation, well maintained, very clean, and good communication from the owners. Owners kindly allowed us to park on the driveway and gave us a slightly later check out time as it was New years Day. Sea views from the garden and within walking distance of Poole Harbour . A lovely place to stay and relax, I would recommend.

Property is quiet and clean - owners of the property was really friendly and helpful throughout our stay, only downside is off road parking and need to access back of the owner property- little hassle to carry luggage for the stay

Geweldig huis met veel buiten mogelijkheden op een perfecte locatie

De locatie ligt vlak bij de kust, met uitzicht op zee. Het huisje ziet er super uit en is zeer compleet. Ook buiten is er veel ruimte om te genieten, met een trampoline, terras met vuurplaats en een eigen pickleball veld.

Het huisje was vrij warm, met warm weer.
