Loved the location except for getting our big bus up there. But for walking to the bazaar and castle, it was so close. There was space to spread out. The view from the bedrooms was gorgeous. The owners or managers daughter spoke great English and was able to help me book a taxi and get us some salt in a pinch. The large balcony without the view had some very nice tables and seating. Love that they had fans in every room in case it was hot.
There were too many decorations that felt a bit cluttered for me. Felt like I was staying in someone else’s house while they were gone. Felt a bit cluttered. Not a fan of the kitchen. Wasn’t really able to cook much in there except to make boiled eggs. Just didn’t have enough supplies that we needed. The living/sitting room has a kitchen table in it cramping the room. The room I stayed in had cracks between the windows and the house that cold air was seeping into. It was very cold.

It was a lovely house with four bedrooms over two floors and two small bathrooms. Lovely views and easy walk to castle and old town.

This is my favourite place to stay in Gjirokaster, and the town itself is amazing to spend a time in a quiet atmosphere of the historical place. The location is superb and the owners are very friendly, helpful and kind. This traditional house is ole but very well renovated with all comfortable stuff you may expect.
