That Gary met us on arrival with a rose wine, cheese and a baguette waiting for us. Very pleased. Also, on one occasion we had difficulty in opening the front door. Gary arrived within 15 minutes to make sure we had access. Before we arrived, he installed grab handles in the showers, which was really appreciated. Very difficult to beat 18 on the Rue for location. A 100 yards from the main square and all of its bars and restaurants.
Accepting that 18 on the Rue is 700 years old, the stairs can be a challenge from the kitchen to the bedrooms on the 3rd level. The air conditioning struggled with the extreme temperatures. The noise made sleeping a bit of a challenge.

Location was excellent - a two minute 'stagger' into the centre of Eymet. Extremely helpful owner/host. Could not have asked for better accomodations.
