Villa con Giardino Vista Mare

Super friendly host, spacious apartment, large kitchen, nice garden, lovely views, and very good A/C. Parking was easy, and both the town centre and beaches are just a pleasant 10-minute walk away. Castiglione itself is a lovely, laid-back town that doesn’t feel overly touristy.

As likely the first guests of the season, the apartment felt a bit stale on arrival and cleaning could have been more thorough in some corners. The garden was overgrown, and the steep stairs may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.

Parking was an issue for two days as another car blocked our ability to use the space we were designated. We had to park further down the hill. We did like the location relative to the restaurants and the beach. The accommodations are kind of spartan but comfortable. Not the most luxurious rental we have enjoyed but it worked for us.

A written list of what to look for in town, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. A written list of how things work in the apartment, what to do when checking out, etc. would be helpful.

beautiful views- beach, castle, nice garden, well equipped kitchen, wifi, two bathrooms, big kitchen and rooms. Communication with the host was quick and pleasent, she speaks good English and reacts immediately and professionally.

not properly working AC: in fact, we did not need it fortunately- it was February and it was not that cold or hot, but the neighbouring apartment was using it and as the system is connected it was super noisy: only one room out of 3 was ok for normal sleeping. In general the insulation of the house is non-existing: you hear literally everything they do and say. The equipment was obsolete or broken: chairs, umbrellas. One day even the sewage of the sink broke down and as the dishwascher was on, there was water all over our kitchen, fortunately it happened when we were in, so we could fix, but you do not really want to do these things during your holiday
