Beautiful large character property

The location was good; the large old house was very comfortable with good sized bedrooms (good beds); excellent, large bathrooms with bath/ showers and a lovely big well fitted kitchen; plenty of hot water.
Our family enjoyed the hot tub.
* Host kindly agreed to our suggestion of us moving a single bed down to the smaller sitting room for an elderly person with mobility problems
The garden was generally overgrown, with foliage covering the sitting room window and trying to creep through the front door - this spoilt our first impression.
Reception rooms were very dark (unlike photos).
No mention of accessibility to upstair rooms for an elderly person with mobility issues*

Good sized farmhouse with great farmhouse kitchen. Perfect for three families. Nice garden for kids and jacuzzi a bonus
Unhappy that description doesn’t make it clear that property is on a busy and noisy A road. No mention of old house covered in scaffolding next door. General attention to detail low and felt lacked a bit of love and attention.
