Truly outstanding.

Absolutely everything! The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the bed exceptionally comfortable (and large!). The breakfast was the best we have ever had at any French overnight stop (and we have had many). All in all, this is a really great place to dine and to B & B - we recommend La Maison d’Horbé unreservedly.

We were in the attic room, there was no barrier across the top of the stairs so we’re concerned about falling in the night, also too steep to take our case up, so had to leave it in our private foyer downstairs

La Maison D'Horbé

Charming small boutique style hotel. We had a large spotlessly clean bedroom and ensuite which was beautifuly decorated in an individual style. There was a good selection of foods in the prepared continental breakfast which was included in the price and an excellent brasserie restaurant attached. We were able to park outside but in any event the main carpark in this very small pretty village is just opposite. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole experience was exactly what we wanted for our 1 night stopover.

The room “Le perchoir” is bit tight particularly the bathroom. The stairs are tough to climb with the luggage. In few words done for young people not too tall!

Bel établissement situé dans un superbe village du perche ! Très belle chambre , décorée avec gout et très confortable (mise à disposition de thé, café et eau). Petit restaurant situé en dessous à la décoration atypique , très bon repas pris le soir, et petit déjeuner également. Sans oublier l’accueil chaleureux du personnel

L'accueil de nos hôtes. Nous voyagions en vélo et ils nous ont proposé un local sécurisé pour mettre nos vélos en sécurité pendant la nuit. Chambre avec literie de qualité et décorée avec goût petit déjeuner très copieux, avec une hôte à nos petits soins.

Un moment très agréable

La chambre du Perchoir est très spacieuse, très agréable et bien équipée. Une jolie salle de bains adjacente, avec plusieurs serviettes par personne (gants de toilettes, et trois serviettes par personne, c'est assez rare et fort appréciable). La chambre étant sous les toits, et nous y sommes allés lorsque les températures étaient très élevées, et la température dans la chambre était agréable (pas de sensation d'étouffer). Un ventilateur était même mis à notre disposition au cas où. L'accueil du jeune homme a été charmant. On a pu profiter pour prendre un apéritif au bar en dessous et aller dîner au restaurant maison d'Horbé juste en face avec une délicieuse cuisine.

Juste un détail : c'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu de yaourts de fermes locales proposés au petit-déjeuner alors que de nombreux produits locaux sont proposés dans l'établissement. Mais cela n'enlève rien au bon petit-déjeuner servi et la dame est attentive à nos besoins.

Le petit déjeuner (oeuf dur) pourquoi ne pas demander si on en voulais un ou des œufs sur le plats ou brouillés car sur chaque table les gens les ont laissé). Croissant de la veille et réchauffé au grill pains.

Etablissement sympathique avec un bon accueil et un cadre raffiné. Restaurant à la cuisine moyenne.

Cadre de la salle de restaurant très réussi. Service attentif.

Cuisine plutôt moyenne qui n'était pas au niveau de notre attente. Ris de veau décevants (sauce lourde et gélatineuse qui masquait le ris). Paupiettes de veau noyées dans la sauce et sans finesse. Les desserts étaient mieux réussis.
