    ## Feedback and Suggestions for Wyndham Hoi An Resort Our stay at Wyndham Hoi An Resort was rather disappointing. While we appreciate some of the gestures made by the staff, several aspects of the resort need significant improvement, particularly for families travelling with young children. **1. Poor Lighting and Deserted Atmosphere** The floor we stayed on was in complete darkness after 5 PM. This was concerning, especially when travelling with a baby. The main dining hall was also closed, making the resort feel unusually deserted. Overall, the atmosphere was far from what we expected of a resort. **2. Limited Food Selection and Lack of Child-Friendly Dining Options** The food selection was disappointing, with very limited choices available. There were also no child-friendly plates or utensils. We had to constantly hold down the ceramic plate to prevent our baby from accidentally knocking it over or breaking it. I strongly suggest providing proper children's tableware, particularly for a resort that welcomes families. **3. Power Outage and Lack of Response** On our final day, there was a power outage, and we saw no apparent attempt to restore the power or send staff to check on affected guests. We eventually checked out without electricity being restored. The lack of communication or assistance was particularly disappointing. **4. Poor Quality of Welcome Cake** We received a cake on our first day, which was a thoughtful gesture. Unfortunately, it was genuinely one of the worst-tasting cakes I have ever had. While the gesture was appreciated, the quality of the cake left a poor impression. **5. Impractical Towel Exchange System** The resort requires guests to use a towel exchange card, but the towel station was frequently unattended. This system creates unnecessary inconvenience. If the resort wishes to maintain a towel exchange policy, the station should at least be consistently staffed. **6. Restrictions on Outside Food** Instead of restricting guests from ordering outside food, I suggest allowing guests to sign a liability waiver acknowledging that the resort is not responsible for the quality or safety of food purchased from external vendors. This would provide guests with more dining flexibility, especially considering the limited food options available within the resort. **7. Children's Playroom Without Air Conditioning** The children's playroom was generally not air-conditioned. We had to wait quite some time before the air conditioning was switched on for us. A children's playroom should be kept at a comfortable temperature during operating hours, particularly in Vietnam's hot and humid climate. ## Overall Impression The resort has considerable room for improvement in terms of facilities, dining, guest comfort and service responsiveness. What disappointed us most was the apparent lack of attention to basic guest needs. The closed dining facilities, dark corridors, unattended towel station and poor response to the power outage all contributed to the impression that the resort was operating with minimal staff or services. As a family travelling with a young child, we expected a more comfortable and accommodating experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and considers these suggestions to improve the experience for future guests.

    Second time in this hotel, ideal for a perfect weekend of good rest, pool, breakfast and visit to old town (15mins taxi drive from hotel) . Massage at the hotel are amazing! Highly recommend

    Great accommodation. Clean and spacious. Restaurants offer many options and great breakfast. We loved the pools and the convenience of the buggies to go to the beach and 2nd Restaurant.

    Resort doesn't quite meet luxury hotel (5*) in terms of service., atmosphere, or overall experience. Operators were polite and unhelpful. Breakfast is chaotic in a five star hotel. I am very disappointed with my experience at this hotel.
