Our upstairs villa sits in the heart of Legacy Villas, overlooking the beautifully landscaped main promenade and its center fountains. Our southwest-facing balconies have serene mountain views where golden glow sunsets light up the hillsides every evening. It feels like you’re in the middle of a cute European village, where all your cares are miles away.
If this is your first time visiting Legacy Villas in La Quinta, California, we welcome you to our exclusive, family-friendly, condo community with 24-hour security at the main entrance. Guests can choose between twelve (12) salt-water pools and eleven (11) hot tubs spread throughout 40 acres of landscaped grounds with sparkling fountains, rosemary bushes, palm trees, citrus trees, bougainvillea archways, geraniums, and flowering desert cacti. This is a lovely home base to all happenings in the greater Palm Springs area, where hummingbirds greet you in the morning, and the grounds are accessible only to those on the Legacy Villas guest list. Since our unit is closer to the front of the community, you’re just a 1-2 minute walk to the popular main clubhouse and pools.
OUTDOOR BALCONIES - Enjoy your morning coffee outside. Relax on our main patio’s outdoor couch while listening to the soothing sounds of the fountains below. Or put your feet up on the ottoman while snoozing on the matching armchair. Set your snacks on the large coffee table, or dine al fresco at the patio table. Cook up your favorite BBQ on the Charbroil Infrared Grill.
LIVING ROOM - Watch your favorites on our 59” wall-mounted TV, while stretched out on our over-sized, super cushy L-shaped couch. On cooler evenings, warm up next to the one-touch gas fireplace. An oversized coffee table welcomes everyone to gather round.
KITCHEN: Fully-equipped kitchen accommodates for homemade family meals. Five-burner gas stove with steam clean oven. Whirlpool Refrigerator with Ice Dispenser and Filtered Water. KitchenAid dishwasher. Granite counter-tops. Microwave. Blender, Toaster, Coffee Maker, and Teapot.
DINING AREA: Elongated Dining Table with seating for six (6). Breakfast bar provides additional counter-height seating for two (2). French doors open to the main balcony with outdoor table seating for four (4) more.
Three (3) bedrooms provide home-like comfort, and plenty of personal space for up to six (6) guests.
PRIMARY KING SUITE: King Size Bed. Private bathroom ensuite with a soaking tub and step-in shower. Desk/Workstation with laptop monitor (HDMI connect). Wetbar with mini-fridge and microwave. 32” TV with local cable. One-touch gas fireplace. Ceiling fan light. French doors open to a semi-enclosed balcony overlooking the main promenade with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. In addition to the outdoor couch on the main balcony, this personal balcony has its own loveseat with Sunbrella cushions, plus another matching armchair with ottoman. Table seating for two allows for more intimate al fresco dining.
SECONDARY KING SUITE: King size bed. Private bathroom ensuite with soaking tub and step-in shower. Laptop work-table for work/study from home. 32” TV with local cable. Partial mountain and village views. One-touch gas fireplace. Ceiling fan light.

LAUNDRY: Stackable washer and dryer located in hallway niche.
We named our unit Fontaine du Soleil because from our balcony you can see the sun sparkle on the fountains below, while sunrays equally light up the mountains above. Our place is low-key, a hideaway designed for the ease of resort-living. You could sit on our balcony all day and just watch the sun move across the sky. The unit is ideal for those looking for an escape to simpler times, where books were more prevalent than smartphones, and conversation did not happen over texts, but over a glass of fine wine.
Need a place to charge your EV? Legacy Villas recently installed Twenty (20) EV CHARGERS by the main clubhouse.
If traveling with a large event group, such as a wedding party or family reunion, please feel free to inquire about booking other rentals located close to (or far from?) this villa at [email protected].

We have stayed at this complex in the past, and it is always beautifully maintained! The grounds are gorgeous!The unit was as listed. Could use more towels. We were given 8 large bath towels for 6 people for 6 days. Also, only 3 hand towels. This unit doesn’t have any reserved parking spots, so had to park out on the street as was very busy during our stay and no spaces in the parking area outside of unit. Beautiful to walk around and outside of the complex.

Loved this location and the space was so nice for our family. Very comfortable. Well stocked. Beautiful grounds and amenities. The place could use a deep clean in some areas but was mostly adequately clean.

The unit and property amenities at Legacy Villas were better than expected. On previous visits to La Quinta we have stayed in a single family residence so I wasn't certain how I would feel about shared pools and facilities. The grounds were beautiful, we were never without a pool to go to and relax. Since we were a group of adults we never tried the main pool but enjoyed several of the satellite pools also the hammock garden and the chairs at the outdoor fireplace. The grill located onsite was good, hopefully as things return to normal the operating hours at the grill will be extended. Thank you for your hospitality our stay exceeded our expectations and we hope to return again.
