About this chalet rental
Welcome to the Edelweiss Chalet! Enjoy the charm of our centrally located 950 square foot chalet at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Road and 4 miles from downtown Sandpoint. Whether you are planning to hit the slopes at Schweitzer or play in beautiful Lake Pend Orielle at the City Beach Park, you will love staying at the Edelweiss in comfort and style.
A maximum of 4 adults and 2 children is recommended with 6 guests total maximum. One dog is allowed to stay with guests.
As you walk in the front door you enter in our light and quaint chalet with cathedral ceilings and an open air concept kitchen, dining and living room. The main floor has one bedroom with a full size bed and a 3/4 bath with shower. The living room sofa has a comfortable memory foam queen size pull out bed with a cozy gas fireplace to warm up next to on Winter nights. Entering in the side door of the chalet there is a great space to put on shoes and coats as well as store skis and boots. The entire upstairs loft is the master suite with a queen size bed and an on-suite bathroom with a tub. The front deck has a conversation patio set with a gas BBQ grill to enjoy some outdoor cooking and dining. The back of the chalet has a gas fire table with 4 Adirondack chairs to enjoy Summer and Fall evenings. There is also a patio dining table and 6 chairs. The 6 person private hot tub is located just outside the side door with a privacy fence and string lights. Perfect for an apres ski soak. Enjoy!

We had a great stay! The property was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed BBQing on the deck and relaxing in the tub. It was perfect! We will definitely wanna come again.

The chalet is cute and cozy with a well-equipped kitchen, which was great for meals and evening hang outs. It’s close to Schweitzer-the shuttle parking is only a minute drive away. The sound of the train took a day to get used to, but we ended up liking it as we accepted it as part of the character of the area. The hot tub was amazing after a fun day on the mountain. This chalet has all of the amenities for skiers/riders too-drying rack and lots of hooks for gear, and even a ski rack.
