With the beach and local restaurants just steps away you will have plenty of options to enjoy your vacation .Cocoa Beach is often referred to as the "surfing Capital of the East Coast" and there is numerous surf schools and rental shops located near by. In addition to beach activities Cocoa Beach country club is home to a 27 hole course with 17 lakes and has 1.7 miles of holes along the Banana River with beautiful scenery and wild life . There is also a tennis facility and swimming pool located at the country club all is open to the public for a fee. Kayaking and fishing on the Banana river is only a mile away also. Besides live music there is also Surfside playhouse and Gregorys comedy club a mile away. There is also a local market .2 miles away, Coastal Market which provides pre made meals as well as sandwiches and cold cuts. Dollar general is located .5 miles away so if you need any essential or beach supplies they are close by.
