Widi House Nusa Dua -- sleeps six, near bay and beaches

Worst rental property I’ve ever stayed in. The host was so annoying. Always pestering me asking me to give him a copy of my passport (which I already did) and give him a copy of my visa and questioning me like he was suspicious or something. He also always pestered me about how much electricity I was using and how much water and brought my motorbike inside the gate many nights and locked it in there despite me telling him not to. He couldn’t figure out how to use the VRBO app, so he insisted I help him then he got mad because VRBO hadn’t paid him the money from my stay yet. He’s a strange old man, he doesn’t say hello when he sees you, he just stares rudely. This is definitely not a private house that you will have to yourself… It’s this guy’s house, and you get the guest house, but he still walks around in what’s supposed to be the guest’s space. The neighbors were also super rude. They questioned why I was walking around the neighborhood and said I shouldn’t be there because I’m a foreigner. The truth is it’s a very local neighborhood where foreigners are treated with suspicion, and foreigners probably shouldn’t stay there. What a waste of time and money to stay in this place. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs! Terrible!

This is a large house with three bedrooms and four beds (one a grand pedestal bed in an area outside the bedrooms) and two bathrooms, one attached to the master bedroom. The bedrooms are all air conditioned, as is the sitting room downstairs. Good functional kitchen and separate dining room. Not what I would call modern but with quality furnishings that are well maintained. The hosts are lovely and accommodating and always ready to help. A especially suitable accommodation for families on longer stays and for small groups (the bedrooms have locking doors). The house is on a quiet and green street well off the main road but within easy access to shops and the beach.
