The Coach House is a beautiful property. It is cosy and very well maintained. Perfect for a small family. The location is spot on, just a short walk to Matlock centre. We will certainly be staying here again in the future.

The character of the building and the layout in particular. The lounge was really comfortable and the kitchen area had everything you need Upstairs the bedrooms were restful with very comfortable beds and light proof curtains The parking using the turntable was always a highlight

Location, decor, facilities, welcome pack, communication and welcome pack, comfort of the home.

Open toilet in master bedroom - it was not that nice to have this open to the room (even though behind a small wall) - it felt a little like you had a bed in a bathroom.

Lovely stay in Matlock! Definitely recommend :)

It was a great location and beautifully set. The "James Bond" car turnstile was highly entertaining! It was very cosy and Michelle's instructions and videos beforehand were incredibly useful! It was clean, easy to access and well stocked for short term use.

The drive up the lane sent our car into a bit of a tizzy with the sensors, but you do have enough room, just might be more suitable for more confident drivers. The double beds are also made up of 2 single beds, so there is a seam down the middle. We still slept well, just something to note.

Well located, well kitted out and welcoming.

Well presented, unusual property. Appreciated the layout and provisions. Beds and sofa comfortable. Nice to have lots of mirrors especially the big magnifying one.

Only the turning out of the side road onto the main road, it was slightly hairy. And if being picky the dining chairs were a little low for the table.

Excellent location

The coach house is really lovely with tasteful decor. Everything was very clean and well presented. The location is perfect, close to walk into town and far enough to be peaceful. The milk and biscuits were very thoughtful and the prosecco was a lovely surprise.

The house was beautifully decorated and clean with everything you could possibly need. Hosts friendly and accommodating. Perfect location with a 2-3 minute walk to the centre.

It’s little cosy hut, very nice kids park and shops just 5 minutes away by walk,

Property was quite clean and well furnished, do not bring your car in driveway there is a turntable in driveway for smaller cars not for Mercedes E220 Saloon Car, I had to spend 15 minutes to turn my car from driveway without using turntable because my car couldn’t fit on turntable, you can park on stgiles way as there are parking bays for residents.

The road leading to the front gate is very narrow/a little hard to turn into - a bit of a shock when we first arrived but not a problem.

Very comfortable bedrooms, sitting room. Nice kitchen. Location good for walking into the town. A lovely Victorian Park. Nice places to eat.

The very very narrow lane leading up to a very narrow entrance. The turntable for turning the car round. Hard to get all 4 wheels on. I drive a Mini countryman so not a huge car.

Elegant house stay for a special occasion, definitely recommend

Beautifully decorated with great attention to detail in every room. The accommodation has everything a family could need for short stay and a lovely master bedroom. There is also a great triple bunk bed for the kids! Great site seeing and attractions nearby as well, recommend Heights of Abraham and Chatsworth House.

Delightful cottage

The Coach House was just as represented in the photos and information. A delightful holiday cottage in an excellent location. Handy for the shops, buses and trains. Everything we needed was there and a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy relaxing after a busy day sightseeing with a cuppa and/or a glass of wine! It was very clean and the beds very comfy, we slept well.

The Coach House had absolutely everything you could need and a lovely welcome pack. It was spotless, was very well laid out, beautiful decor and a had very comfortable beds! Great location, with lots to do.

Fabulous house, very comfortable with great car turntable and parking on site. The location was great with Matlock and Matlock Bath within walking distance of the property. The welcome pack was an added bonus. Great information detail of the area and videos received to help access the property.

Everything we wanted

Everything. Quite area, but only a few minutes walk to town. Clean, comfy beds, everything you need for your stay. Welcome gift was appreciated. Given lots of information from Michelle, the host prior to us leaving for our stay. Red Lion, only 3 minutes walk away, does very good-sized meals. Value for money accommodation, definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

Elegant house

Excellent location, quiet, elegant home with all you need for a short stay. Parking space within the courtyard is turntable, so it is not suitable for a long car. We had a rav4, and it just fitted in. All instructions were spot on.

Unfortunately, there is a lack of proper blinds/curtains in the bedrooms. A downside if you wake up at dawn with the light coming into the room. Minor improvement: a kitchen roll would be highly appreciated when travelling to a house where you can cook in it.

Fabulous accommodation

The Coach House is stunning throughout...from the drive up to the gates, the parking turntable Wow!...the decor is stunning, everything you need with additional facilities in the bike shed which in itself is so perfect. Instructions by the owner were superb and very helpful. Lovely welcome package of bubbly, biscuits and milk- so much appreciated! Visited Bakewell and had a spa day at hotel nearby. A beautiful stay for my 60th Birthday! Thank you so much to Michelle and family for making our stay fabulous.

Great location close to Matlock centre, just 10 minutes walk away but in a very quiet location which felt very safe and secure. The Coach House was very clean and well equipped throughout and with a modern smart tv with fast and reliable wifi. Excellent instructions via Whatsapp videos on how to find the house and operate the entry system and car turntable. Ideas for things to do and recommendations of pubs and restaurants etc.
