Tranquil 2BR downtown condo, Parking, King bed

The condo was a perfect fit for our recent trip to Seattle – it’s location is within easy walking distance of downtown and within a quiet neighbourhood. There is a nearby underpass popular with the homeless but it’s easily avoidable if necessary when walking the local area. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen/diner area bright and spacious. The condo also includes laundry facilities. Check-in and out was all very simple with great instructions provided, and the garage space, whilst only big enough for a compact car, was very convenient.

The bathroom could do with modernising but more than adequate. The aircon isn’t the greatest as there is only one unit that directs the hot exhaust out the window. The two bedrooms basically rely on ceiling fans.

Occasionally would get some odours of smokers nearby.

Everything about this apartment except the bathroom was great. Access was easy with in-depth instructions provided in advance. The wifi was free and fast. The kitchen was well equipped. The loungeroom was comfortable and we had a washer and dryer which was fantastic. The loungerooms and each of the bedrooms had an air-conditioner plus there were windows that you could open for fresh air. Both bedrooms also had a fan. The beds were very comfortable. Although the location is a bit out of the way, it is within walking distance to all of the main attractions.

The bathroom was small and dated and the shower was tiny. Prior to staying here we had been on two cruises and one of the cruise ships had a more comfortable shower than this apartment! Not only was the shower incredibly narrow but the showerhead only came to my chin. Had the showerhead been detachable or even slightly manoeuvrable I could have coped, but it was fixed in place. One of the things I really look for in a hotel room or holiday apartment is a nice, relaxing shower. Unless you are short and thin, you will not get that here. There also wasn't a fan in the bathroom so it got very foggy and misty in there if you had a shower.
