casa cattauro camere vista cielo

Lovely traditional house in the heart of Erice, a truly beautiful and charming village. The room has plenty of character, is very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious, with an excellent shower, which is not always easy to find in Sicily! The host is friendly and communication is very good. There is also a fantastic terrace with beautiful views over the surroundings. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and places to explore within walking distance. A lovely way to experience the atmosphere of Erice!

Perhaps a little pricey compared with other accommodation options in Erice. The terrace and its views are certainly lovely, but spectacular views are something you can enjoy throughout the village and view points.

Местоположението и гледката от терасата са очарователни Това е най-красивото място в това вълшебно градче Закуската беше перфектна Домакинята също По-добре не би могло да бъде

Location, parking was a little confusing

Parking was not easy

The view from the communal terrace is wonderful. The owner and her son are very responsive, helpful and friendly. The location of the property in the old town is great and Erice is very attractive.

Our ground floor rooms (bedroom, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom) were very damp when we arrived. The owner's son said straight out the rooms were damp and explained this was because the rooms are built on the rock. He put a dehumidifier on to dry it but the rooms remained damp, the dehumidifier was very noisy and we had a very unpleasant sleepless night as the bedroom smelt of mildew and the bedding felt damp. The next day the owner advised us to keep all the windows open as it was windy. This meant we lost privacy but it did dry the rooms and the damp smell went away so our second night was better. Nevertheless the rooms have low ceilings and few windows and there's a feeling of being underground. We looked into the other bedrooms (numbers 1-3) which are at the top of the house and they looked much better.
