We are Americans who stayed for the Winter Olympics 2026. Conveniently close to the 66 bus for the Santagiulia ice rink for hockey games and the 16 tram for the touristy things like the castle and Duomo while simultaneously being across the street from an excellent playground in a very quiet neighborhood. We did not need a car at all while visiting. Kitchen and laundry in the property make it much more convenient for a family of 5 (parents, grandparents, 6-year-old) to function than we would have in a hotel. We saw all kinds of baby gear in the cabinets like changing pads and pack-n-play and bedding that would make it super easy to visit without bringing a whole portable nursery with you. Aldi is a few minutes’ walk north, and there were plenty of Arab-Italian restaurants, cafes and butcher-produce shops on a nearby street to buy from for both meals in and meals out. Also located within walking distance to a pharmacy and an urgent care. The property has excellent light and air flow complete with windows that kipp for the winter, and you have some impressive distant views like the snow-capped mountains to the north and the large park across the street to the south. The towel warmer in the yellow was very effective at drying wet towels and wet laundry.

We have property management and maintenance experience so we’re more critical than most. Kitchen is functional and useful but poorly laid out. You can’t fill a glass of water in the kitchen sink while someone is cooking on the stove. Overall apartment needs a deep clean; we saw water stains turning into mildew/mold in the yellow bathroom, virtually every floor corner had a small pile of dust/lint, and there were dark stains on the brown couch conveniently covered by a provided throw blanket. The dining table was way too big and heavy to be functional in the space. We bought our own toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, trash bags, and laundry detergent at Aldi for the property since very little was provided and we ran out of all of it in our 8-day stay. The mugs provided did not fit the Nespresso maker provided and often caused the maker to topple over and spill coffee everywhere on the white counters. Other times the Nespresso maker seemed clogged for no reason, even after emptying the cup drawer, and we didn’t have tools to clean the maker. It would’ve been much more convenient to have two sets of keys to the building and flat, including the courtyard. Our one set of keys opened the building and flat but did not have a key to the door to courtyard where trash is disposed, nor the courtyard gate that opens for cars, so one of us got locked into the cold and rainy courtyard while disposing trash one morning. Also, the radiators did not give off predictable heat; the bedrooms became saunas overnight even on the lowest “snowflake” setting. The living room radiator dial had spilled paint over it so it made it difficult to read the numbers on it. The water pressure in the yellow bathroom was bad and took an hour to refill pressure.

Dvě koupelny, klimatizace, balkon a výhled, myčka nádobí, blízko mhd. Veškeré potřebné vybavení pro pohodlný pobyt. Dostatek postelí. Velmi jasně instrukce pro přístup.

Plíseň ve sprchovém koutě. Ne příliš atraktivní lokalita - večer jsme se necítili příliš bezpečně. Špatná zvuková izolace od koupelen v bytě i do jiných bytu - zvuky a tekoucí voda k ránu ruší. Špinavé přehozy na postel - sami jsme si vyprali.

The apartment was amazing with a beautiful balcony view and had all the necessary amenities.

It would have been useful to have more information on the location. The immediate area was quite run down and a fair distance from the centre of Milan. I knew we were staying a little further out but did not appreciate the distance and lack of services around the location. As a female I did not feel comfortable in the immediate vicinity and both my adult daughter and I ensured we were always accompanied. I am a seasoned traveler and aware of the personal responsibility of my own safety and usually am confident on my own.

The location. The inside of the property, although every attempt had been made to ensure all amenities were provided, it did feel a little neglected and appeared to need a little tlc.
