Duque Boutique Stay by ELE Apartments

The check in was one of the smoothest I’ve had , super easy instructions and self service too.

The property felt a lot more basic and simple that the pictures suggested. Some of the pictures in the sample were the actual apartment.

The location and decor

There were no nice toiletries. Insufficient toilet roll for the stay. I had booked it based on a picture of a different apartment so felt that this listing was misleading. There is a charge to look after your luggage on your last day, per item. The air conditioning kept switching off during the night and we had to get up to turn it back on, disturbing our sleep. There are so much nicer places to stay with a personal and friendly touch. This felt clinical rather than welcoming.

The property is in a great location, with good facilities and plenty of space, making it feel comfortable and airy. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and appreciated the excellent location and helpful staff.

Area for improvement would be the quality of the bed linen. The bottom sheet was slightly bobbly and appeared somewhat worn, which made it a little uncomfortable. Given the price of the accommodation, we would expect the linens to be of a higher quality standard. It would be greatly appreciated if additional pillows and towels could be provided, particularly for guests staying for more than five days. The nightclub below the apartment has been causing significant noise disturbance due to people gathering outside the premises. Footsteps upstairs are clearly audible and disruptive. I would appreciate it if concrete measures could be taken to reduce the disturbance.

Looked recently refurbished. Very clean. Lovely host Marta was very pleasant and showed us into the apartment and gave advice.

Location was very central but this meant it was noisy from the bars surrounding at night. No water in fridge or welcome pack. Only 3 pillows
