B&B Garden Grecia

Our last night before our mid-day flight out of SJO was perfect. Less than an hour to airport, but outside the city. Great views, wonderful staff (thanks, Ronaldo.) Excellent complimentary breakfast. Abundant fruit for our vegetarian daughter. Bird life and beautifully landscaped grounds, well cared for. Clean plunge pool. Though I didn't try it, it would be very refreshing in hot weather. Consider a couple of days at the beginning or end of your stay. Near Poas, great to break up your first or last drive if you're coming from further afield. We came from Monteverde. Very affordable and hospitable. Ten stars!

No deficiencies. Beetles come out after dark and swarm around the deck, which is lit. Not a problem. Move the chairs onto the lawn. No mosquitoes or other pests. Our daughter used Doordash or Uber Eats for a late night pizza. There's no restaurant within walking distance, but it's a 3 minute drive to Northern Roots, a little more to Grecia itself. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was well-rounded and filling. The place was beautiful with nature at it's finest surrounding all rooms. The water was nice and HOT (sink and shower). Roberto (owner) is very chill, friendly, and helpful. Any question I had, he answered right away.

I will say that at night you can hear the noise or conversations in the next room over. The beds are so comfortable though, I just put some calming music on and was able to fall back asleep.

Hosts very hospitable and doing their best to provide everything you need. Very nice garden and hotel surroundings.

This was the most dirty place in whole Costarica. I ve been in this country for a week, slept in many places but this one was the last and the worst.... I was very surprized after the opinions and photos of this hotel I got impresion that it will be nice and tidy. It was very sluggish, moldy and awful. There was a bathtub but I would never take a bath there, it was good that there was a shower as well. Also very dirty and awful. We were greeted by cockroach and other insects. Completely no light in the room. One lamp barely giving some light. Hosts were trying very hard but I think the best times of this place pased some time ago and it desperately should be renovated. Unfortunately even breakfast which had a good recomendations comparing to other places was rather bad.
