Little Malop Escape I Central Geelong

Nice little unit in a great location which was fairly quiet, close to beach, Botanical Gardens and shopping centre.

We booked this because it said that there were two bathrooms which it did not really have - a toilet and basin downstairs and full bathroom upstairs, so not quite what we expected. the kitchen floor had sticky patches and it was obvious it had not been washed and kitchen utensils very limited. Garage very tiny for our car and not impressed with the fact that there is a third party asking us to pay a one off fee of $105 OR $500 deposit in order to gain entry to the property. Very reluctant to pay to some unknown party (but we did receive our money back). No mention of this when we booked through bookings.com.

Our big car couldn’t fit into the garage, so we parked in the street

My son liked the accommodation and found it very comfortable

The hidden extra paperwork to complete and Extra cost for security deposit. After confirmation sent info to log into separate website for management group to load identification, etc (which didn't work at time). Also have to pay $30 extra fee to wave an exorbitant deposit on your credit card to be able to get details for check in. None of this is specified prior to booking confirmation. Suggest it should be clear.
