Mill House Cottage - Star Stay on The Cotswold Way

The location is really beautiful and has the convenience of nearby Stroud

It’s charm as an old style cottage made it a little difficult with a baby- a stand up shower may have been great, however not taking away from an excellent stay. These modern comforts aren’t always practical with older buildings.

Beautiful location and lovely little cottage. Kitchen had all the appliances required to have a comfortable stay.

One of the step on the staircase was quite dangerous.

The cottage itself was very nice and well situated. The bedding and everything needed for the kitchen was great. Wifi was good as well.

There was no heating for the first two nights due to a faulty connection between the thermostat and receiver, which was not ideal. To the agency's credit, they did their best to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and by the third night we had heating. What was really bothering though, was not having a showerhead in the bathroom - despite it being listed as an amenity and being present in the pictures. There was only a bathtub with a regular tap - people need to to shower! My partner had to wash her hair as well, and had to struggle with just using the regular tap in the bathtub - utterly ridiculous situation. You can see the lack of a showerhead in the pictures I've attached, compared to the one on the listing.

The location. Located in stunning village . Quiet but close to Painswick and Stroud.

Dark living area. Tight parking unless small car. Difficult bath/shower. Appalling WiFi.. always losing connection on phones and ipads.
