I did not know that it is AirBnbi as there were no service, if we want to replace the towels and do cleaning of the rooms, there is no option for that. There is no restuarant near by for breakfast

The appartment was huge and had a cute balcony. If you look closely at the riverfront you can spot nice animals like tropical birds and otters, this was magical. Overall the basics were there. Trough WhtasApp we had good contact with the renter but it isn't the same hospitality as we used to.

When we arrived there was no water or a filtering machine, so in the evening we had to buy expensive water from the vending machine downstairs. To us it would be a major upgrade if one or two bottles of water and maybe some coffee or tea would be provided at arrival. Also providing some umbrellas in this tropical area would be nice. We asked the renter but they couldn't provide them. To avoid that they're being taken or forgotten you can put a fine on them when they're not being returned. We also read about a fine for not doing your dishes before checking out which felt a bit inhospitable. We only used two mugs for coffee and washed them like was asked but we've never been asked to do our dishes before in hotels or other accomodations. To end, keep in mind this appartment is quite far from the main attractions. We used Grab to get around and this worked well and is affordable, but if you like to be in walking distance to Chinatown, little India and other must see areas of George Town we would recommend to choose a stay a little bit closer.
