176 Mooring Buoy

The pool and deck overlooking the golf course were the stand outs. We found the laundry room facilities with bathroom off the pool to be extremely convenient and also enjoyed the larger sitting room on the 3rd floor. The elevator was also convenient for moving luggage.

There were a few safety hazards especially for smaller children (we traveling with 4 kids, age 5-9). One of the bedrooms had nails popping out of the floor boards (the 5 year old cut her toe on them). The two third floor bedrooms both had metal pieces that are meant for outdoor room transitions (this part of the property was clearly exterior at one time) and the way that it met the tile floor made it easy to pinch feet/toes. Additionally the bedroom with two twin beds on the second floor had tiles popping off the shower walls which is where my 6 year old son was showering. He stayed away from the tiles per my instructions but they could easily have cut or injured someone. Overall the house is extremely disjointed and while it’s well equipped it needs an entire interior overhaul. We got a fair price for the 2026 season but looking at the prices in 2027 and beyond I would be upset to pay that for this property.
