The apartment was actually better than the pictures. Comfortable beds, spacious, plenty of storage and lots of equipment including pool towels, sun beds, loungers and 3 dining areas. The gated community it was a part of was impeccable; the landscaping was well kept, the pools and changing facilities were immaculately clean.
The host met us in person, showed us around the apartment and was at hand via text for any queries we had.
We absolutely loved the location in Carvajal with it's lovely beach close by and the train 5 mins away on foot. Tickets are well priced and very convenient to pop into the busier areas of Fuengirola.
We'll definitely be back!
It's a new complex with ongoing building surrounding it...it can be noisy!
Be aware that the climb from the beach to the apartment gate is STEEP. Once in the compound there's lifts and gentle slopes up to the apartment.

Maybe the fact that it was up a very steep hill, though there was lift access to the lower level of the complex
