BARI 68 - Comfort moderno & fascino antico

I'm giving this place the maximum 10 points, but I would give 12 if I could. I wrote really detailed review, but the booking.com system doesn't allow me to post it all. So I'll try to make things shorter. Our host, Barbara, is really kind and welcoming woman. She provided us with detailed, useful information, answered all my questions, gave us some suggestions and ensured our stay was pleasant and trouble-free. Upon check-in she met us in person (something not every property does) and helped us with more usefull information and advices. That treatment really makes a difference and we appreciate it. She also offered us to leave our baggage at the property, so we can walk a bit more, before our flight back home. That was really nice. I can easily say that half the pleasure we had during our vacatios, was caused by the appartment and the way we were treated. The property itself is magnificent, featuring a stylish blend of retro details and modern comfort. The location was perfect for us — situated on a quiet street just on the edge of the city center, yet very close to it and within easy reach of the good spots. Plenty of shops, markets, coffeeshops, park, parking lot nearby. With its large space, the property offers a wonderful sense of freedom, which suited us perfectly. All rooms were really clean and comfortable. When we didn't want to go out, the kitchen had everything we need to prepare a decent meal. The noise level inside the apartment was really low, even with the windows open and that was really important for us.

The vacation was over and we had to leave...

Right as you enter you're welcomed with a feeling of nostalgia and being a kid visiting someone you admire. Flat is spacious, a lot of retro touches with modern kitchen, bedroom and most importantly, bathroom. It exceeded our expectations. Communication with host was easy, great location, walking distance to old town, market is downstairs and bus stop to anywhere: beach or train station is a few minutes as you leave the apartment door.

Only lacking a bit of places to lounge, yes there is terrace however in the heat only place that is ok is under AC so place to lounge and rest after exploring the city, as you don't feel you can relax in the living room furniture, but that could be just me :D

Perfect, great size, location and amenities.

Great host, spacious apartment, good location
