Was Okay Overall

As others have mentioned, it is an old house but it looks nice and everything works as it should. Very spacious so this is perfect for large groups. The thermostat worked perfectly to keep an ambient temperature. Appreciated that there was a driveway to park in.

The closets upstairs don’t have doors. The pots and pans are really used - we brought our own. There’s no ventilation in the shower so be mindful to crack the window open. Also, there was only men’s body wash available and no shampoo or other body wash. The door in the half bathroom gets stuck bc of how old it is - pull on it hard when getting out. Hopefully this gets fixed. The house had an eerie feeling to it and the location is pretty run down - looks like other houses are being renovated for Airbnb too.

Nightmare experience

Very old property and I didn't wanted Halloween experience for our family.. Place is very close to the falls but many buildings are deserted and looks unsafe. The house itself is very old. Overall very bad experience. Not at all safe for kids. Booking.com shows pics which are not reality. This is my second experience which was worst. Always we book through this app and last 2 consecutive experiences were terrible. This has made me think twice to go on vacation itself. I would suggest checking reality matters now.

Bc the smell was disgusting when we first went in the neighborhood is so bad and ghetto and house was clean but there were baby flies everywhere and the house is really really old and makes so much cracking noises

We are not satisfied with our stay .Floors are making creaking noises and also our kids got hurt by the flooring .Kitchen utensils are broken and the pans are with scratches.Bathroom is the worst .Completely not recommended.

Never Again…Provided USED Body Wash?! Nasty.

Cozy. Heat worked well throughout the areas we lounged and slept. Close to good eats. The couch appeared to be new and was super comfortable. This place looks like it had upgrades done compared to other reviews; however, much work is still needed…mostly for the sake of hygiene.

UNSANITARY CONDITIONS! They provided USED men’s 3-in-one body wash for guests. Disgusting!! Nasty stains found on rugs and pillow cases. Very thin bedding. We had to use comforters from extra beds to use as blankets. Faulty flimsy toilet. Was cracked and leaking. Management failed to respond to concerns when notified. Ended up using only the upstairs bathroom. No heat in basement area at all. Freezing. Fire place shown on photos but not operable. Staff doesn’t think it’s necessary to disclose. Staff failed to provide corkscrew upon request. Kitchen didn’t include one and we were told before our visit they would have one provided. Photos are outdated on booking site. This unit looked different then what was listed.

I recommend this place and made our stay enjoyable.

There is room for improvements but the only concerning thing was the entrance to the basement is right next to the entrance door, I suggest leaving a light on or let the guest know that is there because the first night i stayed there i came in at night time and when i put the code and went inside in the dark i almost fell down the stairs because the door was open and it was dark but thankfully I didn’t fall.

Generally the house is very clean and comfortable. Everything is well organized and clean. We highly recommend this house. The owner was very kind.

The only thing I noticed was that the bathtub and sink drains are slightly clogged
